Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Transportasi (STMT) Trisakti or Trisakti School of Transportation Management is a fully private higher education institute under the Trisakti Foundation and located at Jalan IPN No.2, Cipinang Besar Selatan, Jakarta Timur, Indonesia.

In 1970 STMT Trisakti has known as “Trisakti Commercial Air Transport Academy” or “Akademi Angkutan Udara Niaga Trisakti”. Under the Education Minister Decree dated 27 July 1985 the name has changed and becoming ”Trisakti Commercial Air Transport Administration Academy” or “Akademi Administrasi Udara Niaga Trisakti”. In its progress under the Education Minister Decree No.0860/O/1986 dated 6 December 1986, the status and name of this institute was upgrading and becoming “Trisakti School of Transport Management” or “Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Transpor Trisakti”, which abbreviated as STMT Trisakti. At that time STMT Trisakti has 2 (two) level of education program: Diploma III (3 years) and Diploma IV (4 years).

In 1986 STMT Trisakti has receiving the license from the Education Minister to operate Diploma IV education program for Land Transport Management study according to the Education Minister Decree No.0895/O/1986 dated 29 December 1986. Since 26 January 1998 all Diploma IV education program becoming Strata-1 (S.1) Management education program according to the Director General of Higher Education decree No.18/DIKTI/Kep/1998.
